Explore The Assembly at VR World Congress

Next week, we’re heading to VR World Congress in Bristol. We'll be showcasing The Assembly - our upcoming immersive, interactive story in VR - and leading an industry discussion on how we’re tackling the prospect of self-publishing VR titles.

Join us at the Bristol Marriott Hotel as the VR World Congress brings together game developers, 360° film-makers and seasoned VR specialists from across the globe to discuss the current state of VR and compare notes from the bleeding edge of VR development.

Our VP of Publishing, David Corless (or DC to his chums), will be giving a presentation in the main track on Tuesday 12th April at 11:40 AM with a talk titled ‘The Commercial Reality of Self-Publishing VR Games’. Here, he’ll explain that even those who conquer the wild frontier of VR development will soon find that making amazing VR content is only half the challenge.

Speaking from first-hand experience, DC will give a grounded, realistic overview of the challenges that this new arena introduces. He will also share some of the best practices that can allow independent developers of all sizes to ensure that their VR content is as successful as possible.

Tickets for the conference have completely sold out… but if you haven’t booked your place yet, you can still grab an Expo Only Pass here. This will give you access to VRWC’s expo hall – join us at our stand to get your hands on (and head in) the latest, most up-to-datest playable demo of The Assembly. We hope to see you there!

By the way, did you make it to the Gadget Show Live last weekend? If you did, you may have witnessed our Communications Manager George Kelion up on stage, spelling out why virtual reality is amazing and how it’s going to change your life.

Here, check out a couple of photos from his talk:
