nDreams making VR apps for Daydream

Have you heard the news from Google I/O 2016? It’s there, at Google’s annual developer conference, that Daydream has been revealed – Google’s platform for high-performance mobile VR.

You may have also caught our logo in their keynote and we’re thrilled to confirm that we’re one of the first videogame developers committed to making apps and experiences for Daydream.

Right now,we have a wholly original title currently in the works for Daydream, being built specifically for Google’s new high-quality, mobile VR platform. We’ll be sharing more information about this upcoming release, along with details on how we’re designing it to make full use of Daydream viewers and controllers, in the run up to launch.

Here’s a few words from our CEO and Founder, Patrick O’Luanaigh:

“I’m thrilled that nDreams is one of the first studios to support Daydream. With this new platform’s announcement, it’s that much easier to envisage a time where everyone always has access to high quality mobile VR entertainment and it’s exciting to be collaborating with Google on that ambition.”

Tom Gillo, our VP of Development, had this to share:

“Having already had great success with Perfect Beach for Google Cardboard, it’s incredibly exciting to be creating high performance experiences for Google’s new mobile VR platform. We can’t wait to share the first details about our innovative and captivating apps for Daydream in the near future.”
